Raven Tea Candle Holders

$ 12.00

Though the raven often falls victim to an association with war and death due to its scavenger nature, it has been linked with many positive and helpful qualities throughout mythology.  The raven has an interesting origin story with the Greek God Apollo and was considered a messenger.  The Norse God Odin had two ravens named Huginn (thought) and Muninn (memory) that he sent out each day as spies.  When the ravens returned to their master, they reported all they learned.  Some Native American tribes associate the raven with transformation while others view raven as a hero and even a trickster.
